Spyro & Jake Long: Ripto's Revenge is back!

Thu Dec 10, 2009, 4:44 AM
After a two-year haitus, the crossover is finally back with a brand new chapter! :D I eventually got my motivation back, thanks to re-uns of old American Dragon: Jake Long episodes and rooting through my game collection to play my past Spyro video games. Spyro and Jake are both kick a** dragons, aren't they? :XD:

Fans of my story, you'll be happy to know that I'll be continuing with this until the ending. Before I forget, if you want some Spyro x Elora, Jake Long/American Dragon x Rose/Huntsgirl and Hunter x Bianca romance, just say the word and I'll try to include them at some point. ;)

To prove it, here's the latest long-awaited ninth chapter!: 9th Chapter of Spyro & Jake Long: Ripto's Revenge

I had a great birthday yesterday despite getting less gifts from friends this time and none of my real-life pals were invited. Here were the presents I got yesterday below:

1) New Super Mario Bros. Wii along with the strategy guide and the money tin box (the game was inside it) from my father

2) Archos digital audio player (it's sorta like an iPod but different) from my mum

3) A sock to hold my new music device inside from my little sis

4) "Mario Jackson and PeachDonna" (a picture of Princess Peach as Madonna and Mario as Michael Jackson) by :icon389:, one of my closest/best online mates

5) "Happy Birthday, Mariofanstar" (an image of my Mario OC, DJ Toad, and Count Bleck & Tippi in Peach's Castle at a birthday party for me. "Untouchable" by Girls Aloud was being played by :iconthegreatallie:

The New Super Mario Bros. celebration cake (it was bought a few days before my b-day at a Tesco supermarket, outside the Arndale Centre) was sorta delicious, I'm just not keen on the jam inside and the white icing. :bleh: There was an image of Mario demolishing stuff like Goombas, Warp Pipes and stuff which was in his way. I don't remember seeing Luigi in it, though. I don't know why my younger sis wanna place a candle through Mario's face. ^^; My mother told her that she should insert it through the nose instead but it's too late anyway.

So... seems like Mario has gotta fight for Princess Peach for the 17th/18th time, he'll most likely keep fighting for her for years to come and obviously, when it comes to saving her butt... quitting's not an option. :aww: :happycry: Very romantic indeed, even though the whole "Bowser-kidnaps-Peach" is getting old. Kinda like what Cheryl Cole said in an interview before her live performance of her empowering yet meaningful and passionate first single, "Fight For This Love".

I had a lot of fun playing the game, even on my own however sometimes it's very annoying when I can hear a Toad screaming for help from a ? Block. Anyhoo, already beaten the first boss of the game at a tower and I'm gonna play more of it today.

"From Liverpool to Berlin, and every award I get in"...

Sorry I couldn't resist poking fun at one of the lyrics from the song, "From Paris To Berlin" by Infernal. I did that on purpose 'cause last year's MTV Europe Music Awards was in Liverpool in my country (check out the photograph of the Echo Arena for more information in my gallery) and now it's here! :w00t: (...for the second time, this is the place where it started all the awards!) I taped it last night (it began at 7:00pm and ended at 9:25pm) after I watched most of the premiere on the 5th November which is also Guy Fawkes Night (otherwise known as Bonfire Night) It started at 9:00pm and I can't stay up late to watch the whole thing unfortunately, I would say most of this year's award was Sehr gut! But I hate the whole rocky performances 'cause that type of music is not my cup of tea, no offense, even my mum hated it and said it was noisy. :bleh: Anyhoo... Irish band, U2, were singing in front of the Brandenburg Gate (along with special guest Jay-Z at the end of the show) to mark 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall (which was on the news at night several days ago right before the awards even started, most likely this month). A new one was put up, which blocked the view of fans who didn't get any tickets. ^^; Happy birthday, Berlin (or rather, Deutschland)! :cake: ...As Bono and his U2 band would say! ;)

Beyoncé Knowles scored a hat-trick by getting three awards whilst her hubby got a single prize, other singers and bands got trophies too so almost everyone's happy. The highlights would be seeing Katy Perry as the host once again instead of the puppet named Hans, Shakira's performance, Beyoncé singing "Sweet Dreams", Leona Lewis lighting up the show with her performance, Katy Perry's quick fancy dress changes and how she instantly end up in/on objects e.g. a cocktail glass with a golden fake olive inside, U2 singing with Jay-Z at the end, his duet with Alicia Keys doing "Empire State of Mind" on stage and seeing who won what awards.

Then again... I swear my former Art class from BTEC National Diploma Art & Design Level 3 been there before as an educational trip to check out galleries, museums and whatnot. :hmm:  Dang, I should have gone there when I had the chance! :shakefist: Guess it's too late now. :cries: :crying: :tears:

Finally, November is here which means tons of things is going on! :D Here are the special days below:

Sunday 1st November - All Saints Day
Thursday 5th November - Guy Fawkes Night (otherwise known as Bonfire Night - meaning fireworks! :w00t:) and MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 in Berlin, Germany at the O2 World
Sunday 8th November - Remembrance Sunday
Wednesday 11th November - Remembrance Day
Tuesday 17th November - Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding's birthday
Friday 20th November - Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh's birthday and the :flaguk:/European release of New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Monday 23rd November - the release of the latest Sugababes album, Sweet 7
Tuesday 24th November - My birthday! :w00t: :cake:
Monday 30th November - St Andrew's Day (Scotland)

Usually, Mario games tend come out this month that's why I usually dub November "Mario Month" but soon New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be released 4 days before my birthday, ain't that coincidence? :D But also irony comes this way 'cause the forthcoming Sugababes album is coming out 1 day before my b-day! :wtf: :omg: So, hopefully this year's November will be just as perky as 2007's. :fingerscrossed: Happy early birthday for moi! :w00t:  :cake:

Congrats, Chezza!

Congratulations for The X-Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole for storming through the charts to number one!  Currently, it's the fastest-selling single of 2009 in the :flaguk:. :) Let's just say Chezza is fighting for our love in the :flaguk: charts. =P  I've always wanted to use this song to do a songfic but so far, no plot yet... mainly little ideas coming from my mind.

Anyhoo, in a way most of the lyrics suit Mario x Princess Peach in my opinion and I or we could say that the red-clad plumber is fighting for the pink princess' love. :aww: The words were meaningful and now that it's officially in 1st place, I totally gonna take back what I said about the song when I first heard it. I couldn't come up with anything else... unless someone's gonna help me with the storyline. Hopefully, I'll think of something. :fingerscrossed:
