"From Liverpool to Berlin, and every award I get in"...
Sorry I couldn't resist poking fun at one of the lyrics from the song, "
From Paris To Berlin" by
Infernal.

I did that on purpose 'cause last year's
MTV Europe Music Awards was in Liverpool in my country (check out the photograph of the
Echo Arena for more information in my gallery) and now it's here!

(...for the second time, this is the place where it started all the awards!) I taped it last night (it began at 7:00pm and ended at 9:25pm) after I watched most of the premiere on the 5th November which is also
Guy Fawkes Night (otherwise known as
Bonfire Night) It started at 9:00pm and I can't stay up late to watch the whole thing unfortunately, I would say most of this year's award was
Sehr gut!

But I hate the whole rocky performances 'cause that type of music is not my cup of tea, no offense, even my mum hated it and said it was noisy.

Anyhoo... Irish band,
U2, were singing in front of the
Brandenburg Gate (along with special guest
Jay-Z at the end of the show) to mark 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall (which was on the news at night several days ago right before the awards even started, most likely this month). A new one was put up, which blocked the view of fans who didn't get any tickets.

Happy birthday, Berlin (or rather,
Deutschland)!

...As Bono and his
U2 band would say!

Beyoncé Knowles scored a hat-trick by getting three awards whilst her hubby got a single prize, other singers and bands got trophies too so almost everyone's happy. The highlights would be seeing Katy Perry as the host once again instead of the puppet named Hans, Shakira's performance, Beyoncé singing "
Sweet Dreams", Leona Lewis lighting up the show with her performance, Katy Perry's quick fancy dress changes and how she instantly end up in/on objects e.g. a cocktail glass with a golden fake olive inside,
U2 singing with
Jay-Z at the end, his duet with Alicia Keys doing "
Empire State of Mind" on stage and seeing who won what awards.
Then again... I swear my former Art class from
BTEC National Diploma Art & Design Level 3 been there before as an educational trip to check out galleries, museums and whatnot.

Dang, I should have gone there when I had the chance!

Guess it's too late now.
